The International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua) invites expressions of interest from organisations interested in hosting our 2028* International Conference.

Through its annual international conferences, ISQua brings together global health leaders, policy-makers, academics, and professionals committed to improving quality and safety in health care. Hosting this prestigious event offers a unique opportunity to showcase your country’s leadership in quality improvement and patient safety, strengthen international collaborations, and promote national and regional innovation.

Why Host an ISQua Conference?

ISQua’s conferences attract more than 1,200 delegates from over 80 countries each year. They feature an extensive scientific programme, international speakers, and a vibrant exhibition and networking environment. Previous host cities have included Brisbane, Seoul, Istanbul, São Paulo, Dublin, and Vancouver.

Hosting ISQua 2028 will bring international recognition to your health system and provide opportunities for engagement across government, healthcare organisations, academia, and industry.

Key Requirements for Tender Submissions

Organisations interested in bidding should provide:

• Confirmed financial support of at least €200,000 (net funding), secured from sponsors or supporting institutions.
• Letters of support from national or regional healthcare authorities, professional associations, and/or academic institutions.
• Evidence of experience in organising health-related events or supporting quality improvement initiatives.
• Information on the proposed venue, accessibility, accommodation options, and affordability for delegates.
• Details on local attractions, cultural and tourism appeal, and delegate safety and visa facilitation.

ISQua assumes all financial risk for the conference and manages the overall event in partnership with a Professional Conference Organiser (PCO). The host organisation contributes local insight, partnerships, and logistical support.

*Depending on the number of tenders received and their geographic distribution, ISQua may also consider tenders 2029

• Shortlist Announced: March 2026
• Final Decision: May/June 2026
