In the modern era, keeping patients safe and delivering high-quality care involves bringing together data from many sources so that clinicians, patients, managers and leaders, and policymakers can make decisions quickly and confidently. Smart healthcare organisations are increasingly able to exploit their data sources in this way, and are becoming Learning Health Systems.
The International Network for Activating Learning Health Systems (INACT-LHS) has been working with ISQua to develop several sessions and a pre-conference workshop being delivered at our Seoul, Korea Conference. In a world-first, the INACT-LHS Toolkit, led by Dr Tom Foley, is being made available to all. Endorsed by the ISQua Board and funded by the UK’s Health Foundation, this will be useful to anyone – individuals, clinical teams, healthcare organisations, peak bodies – interested in managing their data better and embracing a continuous improvement approach.
As a member of both ISQua and INACT-LHS, I wholeheartedly commend the Toolkit to you.

This Toolkit has been developed by the International Network for Activating Learning Health Systems, to allow those building and studying Learning Health Systems to share tools that they have found helpful. It takes less than five minutes to submit a tool to the repository. The team themselves hope to learn and improve the system with user feedback.
The LHS Toolkit is a free resource and available to anyone for download - https://lhstoolkit.learninghealthcareproject.co.uk/
