ISQua invites submissions from Fellows who wish to present their work at a special 90-minute session at ISQua’s 41^st International Conference, São Paulo, Brazil 12^th – 15^th October 2025.

Closing Date: 4th July 2025

For the first time, ISQua will hold a very special 90-minute session, showcasing the work of Fellows who have implemented strategies or projects to improve healthcare quality and patient safety in their own settings.

‘Fellowship In Action’ will be a 90-minute session at which four of ISQua’s Fellows will be invited to present before their peers and a panel of experts on how they have implemented learnings from the ISQua Fellowship Programme into their own practice and local context.

The outstanding presentation as selected by our panel of experts will be rewarded with the opportunity to present again at the Conference’s Closing Plenary. 

What we are looking for:

Fellows who have used the learning from ISQua’s Fellowship Programme to create positive changes to their organisation/institution/workplace.

Presentations must clearly demonstrate the link between the content of the ISQua Fellowship Programme and decisions made during the design or implementation of the improvement project.

Here are some questions to consider when submitting your application:

1. What was the problem?
2. How did the ISQua Fellowship inspire/guide you? (specific elements of the Programme are appreciated)
3. What did you do?
4. Who was involved?
5. Were there any obstacles?
6. What was the outcome?
7. What have you learned in this process?
8. Do you have any plans to build capacity or upscale this improvement?

General Information:

1. Closing date for applications is 4^th July 2025
2. Presentations must not exceed 15 minutes in duration.
3. This application process is separate from the abstract submission process for the Conference Programme.
4. Applicants must be current ISQua Fellows in year 2+.
5. This is neither a scholarship nor a sponsorship, but an opportunity to share your achievements.
6. Your presentation should clearly demonstrate linkages between your improvement work/intervention and aspects of the ISQua Fellowship.
7. Applications are accepted from those who work in all aspects of healthcare provision and from all regions.
8. All presentations must be in English.

Registration and attendance at the 3 days of Main Conference to ensure availability for possible presentation on the Plenary Stage at a later time/date.
