CEO Update March 2017

The office is due for another move as our short-term lease ends soon - so we are looking for a permanent office and hope to report back soon where that will be.

The London conference programme is taking shape with over 1700 abstracts received - a sign of great interest. Registration has just opened so consider booking early.

It promises to be a wonderful learning experience. This year we're also offering excellent discounts for students and delegates from low and lower-middle income countries to attend, so don't miss out!

At the same time, we are working to develop next year’s conference in Kuala Lumpur and I am visiting Cape Town to commence discussion on the conference scheduled for October 2019. We've had several excellent Education Webinars recently, with some great speakers - a recording of each is available on our website for a short time so make sure you check them out while you can.

Our most recent webinar was the very popular session with Prof KrisVanhaecht on 'Second Victims', if you missed the live session this is definitely one to catch up on. Prof Vanhaecht will also be speaking on this topic at our London conference, with reknowned speaker and author, Prof. dr. Albert Wu, from John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, USA.

Currently I am in Mozambique - you can follow the visit on my LinkedIn Blogs.

Finally, we are on a membership drive so please get at least one colleague or friend to join! And remember, this is an election year, so if you'd like to become more involved with ISQua consider joining our Board. Details on how you can nominate yourself or others will be shared in the next bulletin edition.
