  The Institute of Medicine of the US Academy of Science has recently released a publication of interest: "Envisioning the National Health Care Quality Report". It is available on-line in full text (.pdf and html).
  The report includes an expert committee's recommendations for a conceptual framework, indicators and data sources for this major report which will be due for release in 2003 by Congressional mandate.
